Open Positions for 2016-17

Vice President

The Vice President’s duties include but are not limited to supporting the President with the following; long-range and strategic planning, addressing performance of Steering Committee members as needed, coordinating and presiding at all PacWest SFS meetings: in-person and conference calls, assisting with the ad hoc bylaws committee, and researching and planning membership growth and maintenance. A full-description is listed on the PacWest website.


The Secretary is the recording officer of the PacWest SFS and the custodian of its records. The Secretary attends and keeps the minutes of all meetings and is responsible for the maintenance of all written records, except those that are specifically assigned to others. The Secretary also sends out notices of all meetings, conference calls, and solicits agenda items for conference calls and in-person meetings. Two-year term.

Web Coordinator

The Web Coordinator works with third-party vendor in maintaining and updating the www.pacwestsfs.org website. Familiarity with administering computer software is helpful, but there is no programming or coding involvement. Additionally, the Webmaster updates the HigherOne eMarket for event registration and payment processing, creates invoices when necessary, and generates sales reports.

Member-at-Large (1-2)

The Steering Committee is composed of the PacWest SFS’s Officers and Members at Large. The purpose of the Steering Committee is to make decisions about PacWest SFS activities and to act as stewards of the organization. Members-at-Large helps support the strategic and operational planning of PacWest SFS’s activities through conference agenda creation, special projects, and participation in organizational operations. Two-year term.

Corporate Partner (2)

A Corporate Partner operates in the same capacity as a Member-at-Large while simultaneously providing insight and perspective from the point-of-view of a sponsoring agency. The Committee currently maintains a minimum of two Corporate Partner positions, each serving a term of two years.
