Job Summary:
PLNU is looking for a positive, organized team member with a friendly disposition and the ability to communicate effectively with students and their families. You will be a great teammate who is willing to take direction but also shows initiative and can work independently. You are a fast learner and are willing to guide students through the nuances of Financial Aid and billing. This role will regularly connect with people in an effort to educate them about the Student Financial Service’s processes, inform them about their Student Accounts, and collect on any outstanding balances. You will work as a team meeting various goals and sharing in our passion for helping students and others.
While primarily an on-site position, there may be the option for a hybrid work arrangement.
Salary:
Pay range: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the University’s student account receivables and collections efforts, while promoting and supporting a highly collaborative and engaged service-oriented culture. Responsible for adhering to, and maintaining accuracy in reporting and compliance with federal and state regulations, including Title IV aid and refunding, IRS 1098T and 1042-S filings, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and state escheatment processes.
